What does it look like?

The mango is a sacred tree native to Asia, traditionally used for its nutritional properties. Cultivated for 4000 years, it has quickly spread throughout the world.

Its fruit is called "drupe": in botany, it is fleshy stone fruits like cherry, apricot or olive. Mangoes have smooth and thin skin, green, yellow or scarlet depending on sun exposure and variety.

The mango contains a flat, large core that itself contains a single seed 4 to 7cm long. This precious almond contains a butter particularly rich in fatty acid known for its benefits.

The fruit tree enjoys sunny, humid and warm exposure and grows abundantly in tropical areas and at low altitudes, criteria that India offers very well.

THE VIRTUES OF OUR MANGO

Why is it so good for your dry hair?

Mango butter extracted from the core is a product very rich in fatty acids with exceptional nutritional properties. At Klorane, after collecting the mango pulp, the pits are recovered and dried in the sun. The mango, having a very low melting point - 35°C - it is then by a mechanical extraction method, cold pressing, that we obtain the high nutritional power of its butter and its various benefits.

An extraction that is done without water or solvents, thus we benefit from a maximum of good non-denatured fatty acids: their oleic and stearic composition makes mango butter perfectly suitable for hair care. Finally, the experts proceed with cold pressing, filtration and physical refining by vacuum deodorization and discoloration on bleaching grounds with diatoms.

A WORD FROM THE EXPERT

Thanks to the powers of mango, we obtain a melting texture with a gourmet fragrance for a care that strengthens the hydro-lipidic film and infuses the right dose of nutrition for hair bursting with vitality, without material effect.
